When designing for the internet it is very important to consider every
choice one makes. With so many websites available on the internet, competition
is no longer limited to those within the same market. Usability, therefore,
is much more important now that it has ever been before and will continue
on being more so as the web develops
As Jakob Nielsen states in his book Designing Web Usability, "The Web is the ultimate customer-empowering environment. He or she who clicks the mouse gets to decide everything. It is easy to go elsewhere; all the competitors in the world are but a mouseclick away".
